Felt really good today, legs were loose and moving under me well, left knee was a little sore, but nothing of concern. Even picked up the pace quite a bit, had my lungs working at the end. See how I feel tomorrow.

Finishing out the week

Finished the week feeling a little sluggish, but not too bad. My shoulders were really sore though...wow. Looking forward to Monday.

A Little Sore

Legs were a little sore today, knee had a slight pain, but all in all good. I think the socks are doing wonders, even with just keeping my calves warm and loose. I am trying to figure out how and when to fit plyometrics/P90X Plyo into my routine, maybe start with Satrudays so I have resting periods after, and go from there.

Wore my compression socks today for the first time, they felt great. My calves were warmed up it felt like, and I didn't feel any twinges. Hopefully these workout for me.

Day Two

2 Easy Miles - 19:30 - 9:45 Pace

No socks yet, but still felt good. Did the stair stepper before again to warm up, didn't do abs first this time.....really just jumped on the treadmill right away to talk with Gina. Then, when I got ready to move, I was concentrating so hard on no hurting my self and feeling for every little twinge and pain...that I barely chatted with her...lol.

Anywho, felt ok, still just two miles, I am slow, I don't have much cardio endurance. it will come back, just feels good to run again.

Ok, I'm back

2 Easy Miles - 20:00 - 10:00 Pace

Got back to it today, with a few modificaitons. I hit the stair stepper before running to loosen up my legs a little, also did abs and weights first, just to get the blood flowing. Waiting on my compression socks.....yeah, I am looking for any little advantage to keep me on my feet.

It was painful today, which I expected. Between the lack of running for 5 weeks, 10 lbs of holiday weight, and 10 lbs of lifting weight, it just didn't feel the same putting one foot in front of the other...but it did feel good to be moving.

See how I feel tomorrow, and how Wed goes.
